While Jemima Mori, the alter ego author, may not fully exist in the real world all the time, she is certainly very human. She and her bodily co-inhabitant believe in slow fiction—just as anyone might in slow food or slow fashion. The question is, how’s your digital diet?

It’s scary to think that our world’s creative output is increasingly being placed in the hands of generative artificial intelligence, trained using the intellectual property of talented and impassioned creators after it is scraped without their consent, control, or compensation. So far, the result has been a dizzying saturation of runaway content that lacks emotional quality, intellectual oversight, and moral achorage.

As such, no generative AI is used in the conceptualisation or creation of content from either Jemima Mori or Jemima Writes.
